Dr Andrea Giuricin

Dr. Andrea Giuricin was the head of Studies Office and international affairs of NTV, first high speed rail private operator in Europe, since 2009, developing studies and analysis on rail sector. In the same company he is now strategic advisor for the top management.

He is CEO of TRA consulting, a strategic consultancy company based in Barcelona in the transport sector. TRA consulting has international customers from Europe, Middle East, Asia and new entrants in the high speed rail sector in Spain, working with the top management (CEO and President) in the strategic and operational decisions.

TRA consulting works with Korean railways operator, the first public transport company in Italy, Railway Academy in China and several companies all around the World (Vietnam, China, Indonesia), include in Sweden (MTR Express).

It cooperate with several Transport Authorities, for example CMA in UK, SPAD and MYHSR in Malaysia, ART in Italy and ARAF in France.

He is adj. professor in Transport Economics and Mobility Management at University Milano Bicocca in Italy. He is managing director of CRIET – Transport, a center of research on Transport economics at the University of Milan Bicocca and other 8 Italian Universities.

He is adj. professor in Made in Italy at University of Minnesota, University of Southern California, Michigan State University and Professor in several seminar at UIC in Beijing, Teheran and Madrid. He was chairman in several Rail conferences around the World.

He is professor at CARS, China Academy of Railway Sciences, in Beijing, China, at UIC in Teheran and Madrid, at ITEJ in Tokyo, Japan, at University of Northampton, UK, European University Institute of Florence, Italy, at IBMEC University in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, at Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport, Vietnam and at the Bangkok University College International in Bangkok, Thailand.

He published several books and analysis on transport field and public finance quoted on TV and newspaper (Xinhua, Wall Street Journal, BBC, FT, Bloomberg, Reuters, The Economist, Le Monde, O Globo).
